Taking centre stage on the cover of this summer issue is the Maule FMS, equipped with floats! A feature dedicated to seaplanes offers five mini-tests, with the Maule appearing as a model seaplane. This issue also includes a review of the Integral, a sleek, jet-powered aircraft with the brand's renowned 80 mm EDF unit.



In its one-and-a-half-page mini-test of the Maule, the magazine details the conversion from the wheeled version and concludes that it has an attractive 'model' appearance and is easy and enjoyable to fly. Its ability to convert easily from the wheeled version to the seaplane version, its short take-off and landing capabilities, and its manoeuvrability in small spaces make it a truly versatile machine.




Further on, Yann Moindrot, the editor-in-chief himself, tests the Integral over the course of five pages.



Although he believes that the Futura remains superior in terms of precision in aerobatics, he found it to be one of the most original jets on the market. However, precision can easily be restored with a Reflex gyro module!



He appreciated the powerful motor-set, which provides high speed. However, despite the high wing loading, the approach speed with full flaps remains relatively low — an important consideration for short runways!


In short... 'It's pushing hard'.
