Both of these CA’s are completely odorless during curing, so no irritation to nose or eyes, are non-blooming and only take a few seconds longer to bond than the standard versions. They are not as strong as regular CA and are much more expensive to produce but in situations when a lot of gluing is being done such as the saturation of fiberglass cloth when laminating they provide an escape from exposure to the irritating and unpleasant fumes of the evaporating monomer.

In addition Super-Gold’s don’t attack white foam so they can be used in the construction of foam core wings and the repair of any of the many foam based ARF’s that are available nowadays.

The non-blooming property also makes them the first choice for plastic kit construction with clear parts like canopies, although Super-Gold is still the best choice for assembly of the rest of the kit.

USAGE
Unscrew top from nozzle. For finer applications, use the extender tip. Apply Super-Gold+™ CA to one side of the parts being joined, then hold them tightly together for 5-15 seconds. For larger bonding areas, apply serpentine beads of the CA with enough spacing to allow for the spreading ofthe adhesive. Insta-Set™ accelerator must be used when bonding two pieces of foam together. Full strength is reached in three hours. Wipe the nozzle clean before replacing screw-on top. Refrigerate to extend shelf life. Cured CA is stable from -40 to 220° F. Soak extender tip in acetone for cleaning.

GENERAL SAFETY INFORMATIONS ABOUT CA :
While holding the bottle upright, loosen top to relieve internal pressure, then re-tighten. Remove cap and cut off end of tip. Hold parts lightly together and apply glue on seam for instant bonding. Full strength is reached in 1 hour.
